You can now connect Habidu to Claude and let it work with your real plan: your tasks for any day, your Inbox, your routines and your streak. Ask "what does my afternoon look like?" or "move my gym block to 6 PM" and Claude reads and changes your own Habidu, with the changes showing up in the app right away. Setup takes about two minutes, and this guide walks through it for Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
The connection uses MCP (Model Context Protocol), an open standard that lets AI assistants talk to other apps. You do not need to know anything about it. You paste one address, sign in to Habidu, and you are done. For every supported assistant in one place, see the hub page: Use Habidu with your AI assistant.
What You Need
- A Habidu account (the same one you use in the app, signed in with email, Google or Apple).
- Claude on the web, the Claude Desktop app, or Claude Code. Custom connectors depend on your Claude plan, so check Anthropic's help center if you do not see the option.
- The Habidu connector address:
https://mcp.habidu.com/mcp
That is the only address you need, for every Claude app below.
How to Connect Habidu to Claude.ai
Step 1: Open Connectors
In Claude.ai, open Settings > Connectors.
Step 2: Add a custom connector
Choose Add custom connector and paste https://mcp.habidu.com/mcp. Give it a name you will recognize, like Habidu.
Step 3: Connect and sign in
Press Connect. A "Connect to Habidu" page opens. Sign in with your Habidu account and approve the request. The page says Claude wants to read and change your Habidu, which is what lets it add and move tasks for you.
That is it. Once the connector is added on Claude.ai, it also works in the Claude mobile app.
How to Connect Habidu to Claude Desktop
Claude Desktop uses the same steps. Open Settings > Connectors, choose Add custom connector, paste https://mcp.habidu.com/mcp, press Connect and sign in to Habidu on the page that opens.
How to Connect Habidu to Claude Code
Step 1: Add the server
In your terminal, run:
claude mcp add --transport http habidu https://mcp.habidu.com/mcp
Add --scope user at the end if you want Habidu available in every project, not just the current one.
Step 2: Authenticate
Start Claude Code, type /mcp, pick habidu and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens the Habidu sign-in page.
Step 3: Sign in
The page says "An app on this computer" wants to read and change your Habidu, with an "Unverified app" note. That is expected: Habidu cannot check the name of an app running on your own computer, so it never shows one. Sign in, and the browser hands you back to Claude Code with the Habidu tools ready.
If the browser says it cannot connect after you sign in, copy the full address from the address bar and paste it into Claude Code's prompt.
What Claude Can Do With Your Habidu
Read: your tasks and repeating tasks for any day, your Inbox, your routines (times, days and steps) and your streak, the same numbers the app shows.
Change: add, edit or delete tasks, add to or remove from your Inbox, and save your morning or evening journal. Habidu runs its usual checks on every change. For example, it will not put a task on a day that has already passed, and it will tell Claude when an identical block already exists instead of making a copy.
Ask the coach: Claude can pass a message to your Habidu coach for coaching or reflection. That conversation shows up in your coach chat in the app. This needs the AI coach to be turned on in Habidu first.
Events from your Google Calendar are never shared with Claude.
You Approve Bigger Changes
If a request would change two or more tasks at once, Habidu does not just go ahead. It sends Claude the full list of changes first, with times and titles, and Claude shows you that plan. Only after you say yes does Claude make the changes. A single change, like adding one task, lands right away.
This is the same preview step the Habidu coach uses in the app, and it exists for a simple reason: a re-planned afternoon is easy to approve when you can see it, and annoying to undo when you cannot.
Five Prompts to Try First
Once the connector is on, try these in a new Claude chat:
- "What's on my Habidu schedule today, and where do I have free time?"
- "Add a 45-minute deep work block tomorrow at 9 AM called Thesis draft."
- "Look at my Inbox and suggest which three items to schedule this week."
- "Move my afternoon tasks one hour later." (Claude will show you the plan first.)
- "How is my streak going, and what's my best so far?"
If you like to empty your head first, Claude pairs well with a brain dump to done routine: dump everything into a chat, then ask Claude to put the timed items on your Habidu schedule and the rest in your Inbox. And at the end of the week, it can read your real week for a weekly review instead of working from memory.
Trial and Premium
During your free Habidu trial, the Claude connection works with no limit. After the trial, it needs Habidu Premium. If your trial has ended, Claude will say so and give you an upgrade link, or you can get Premium on the web.
Troubleshooting
Claude can read my tasks but cannot change them
Connections made before October 14, 2026 were read-only. Remove the Habidu connector and add it again to allow changes. In Claude Code, run claude mcp remove habidu, add it again with the command above, then authenticate with /mcp.
The browser cannot reach Claude Code after I sign in
Copy the full address from the browser's address bar and paste it into Claude Code's prompt. That finishes the sign-in.
Claude says I need to turn on the AI coach
Only the "ask the coach" tool needs this. Open Habidu and turn on the AI coach, then try again. Reading and changing your tasks works without it.
How to Disconnect
Remove the Habidu connector in Claude under Settings > Connectors, or run claude mcp remove habidu in Claude Code. Deleting your Habidu account also ends every connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free to connect Habidu to Claude?
Connecting is free. During your Habidu trial everything works with no limit. After the trial, the connection needs Habidu Premium.

Does this work in the Claude mobile app?
Yes. Add the connector once on Claude.ai and it is available in the Claude mobile app too.
What address do I use for the Habidu connector?
Use https://mcp.habidu.com/mcp in Claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Claude Code.
How do I stop Claude from accessing my Habidu?
Remove the connector in Claude under Settings > Connectors, or run claude mcp remove habidu in Claude Code. Deleting your Habidu account also ends every connection.
